My team and I were responsible for creating and executing the month to month retail promotions for Chevrolet Canada month after month... After month.
It taught me a lot about maintaining grace under pressure, leading and motivating a team of designers, art directors, and writers to be more efficient and organized, and dig do as much as they could with very little time. I also learned to play diplomat with multiple clients, often with conflicting opinions.
On the process side, the pace gave us an opportunity to adapt quickly and try new things in short order to make the ideation and execution more efficient.
Overall, it taught me a lot about the business side of the business, making me a more well rounded creative director.
